Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted visited the RoBEX robotic integration company in Perrysburg to see the workforce solutions being developed there.
He discussed how integrated robotics can help abate supply chain obstacles by taking care of simpler tasks.
“The way to help improve productivity so we get more products into people’s homes, into the market, quicker and fight inflation is to use automation,” Husted said. “The Toledo area is No. 1 in the country for robotic automation per capita, and what we’re doing here is integrating that technology, teaching it how to solve problems that previously automation couldn’t solve and it’s improving the overall capacity of this region to educate people and to build solutions for the companies that are located here.”
